Hi, my name is Oogami. I’ve always been the person who goes above and beyond for others—whether it’s offering a shoulder to cry on, sharing a meal, or helping a friend find hope. Today, I’m the one who needs to ask for a lifeline.

The past year has been a perfect storm of "bad luck" that has brought me to a breaking point. I am currently working three jobs, but despite my best efforts, a series of emergencies has put me at risk of losing everything.

Here are the biggest challenges I am dealing with right now:

The House: I’ve fallen behind on my mortgage due to rising utility and food costs. I thought a loan modification would be my saving grace, but the bank’s terms are devastating—adding 10 years and $105k in interest to my debt. I have until April 24th to either accept these impossible terms or face foreclosure.

The Truck: My truck broke down last May. Being without a vehicle has severely limited my ability to travel for work and manage basic errands, making it even harder to dig myself out of this hole.

The Home & Pets: A major plumbing failure has left my kitchen sink and washing machine unusable, with the basement flooding whenever they are run. On top of that, my dog recently fell ill. I’ve already spent $600 on urgent diagnostics, and we are still waiting to see if she will require surgery.

How You Can Help:

I hate to ask for help, and I’ve already exhausted personal loans trying to stay afloat. I am physically and mentally at my limit.

My goal is $12,000 to cover:

$7,500 to pay the mortgage arrears and stop the foreclosure process without the predatory loan modification.

$2,000 to finally get my truck back on the road.

The remainder for professional plumbing repairs and my dog’s follow-up veterinary care, and if theres anything left it would go towards household expenses.
