Tot 3 jaar geleden hadden onze zoontjes een normaal leven.
Ze gingen naar school, speelden het liefst buiten met hun vriendjes en deden heel veel aan sport. Na een covid infectie zijn ze kort achter elkaar ziek geworden. Sindsdien bestaat hun leven uit vele ziekenhuis bezoeken, veel zenuwpijn, duizeligheid, misselijkheid, extreme uitputting, eenzaamheid , angst en afscheid nemen van alles wat niet meer kan. Het feit dat er zo weinig perspectief is maakt dit alles ondraaglijk.
Ze zijn bijna volledig huisgebonden. Naar school gaan lukt af en toe 1 tot 2 uurtjes maar vaak ook wekenlang niet. Een kort bezoekje van een vriendje betekent daarna meer pijn en dagenlang herstellen.
We hebben echt alles binnen onze macht geprobeerd. Geen enkele arts of ziekenhuis in Nederland (inclusief de bezochte privéklinieken) heeft ze kunnen helpen. Geen enkele alternatieve geneeswijze heeft ze verbetering gebracht.
Ze willen zo ontzettend graag weer naar school, met vriendjes afspreken en lekker voetballen. Ze willen zo graag weer gewoon kind zijn.
Dr. Danilo Buonsenso is een kinderarts en onderzoeker uit Rome die internationaal bekend is vanwege zijn werk op het gebied van long covid bij kinderen. Door onder andere IVIG-behandelingen krijgen veel kinderen een stukje levenskwaliteit terug. Deze behandelingen brengen hoge kosten met zich mee. Het volledige traject bestaat uit circa 6 behandelingen (inclusief intake) in het Universitair Gemelli ziekenhuis in Rome.
De totale kosten voor onze twee zoontjes zijn circa €85.000. Er moet een aantal weken van herstel tussen de behandelingen zitten. Dit houdt in dat we een aantal keer terug zullen moeten naar Rome.
Om het behapbaar te maken willen we eerst met onze zoontjes twee behandelingen proberen.
Voor deze twee behandelingen geeft Dr. Buonsenso een onderstaande schatting (eventuele complicaties uitgezonderd) van de kosten:
- intake, onderzoeken en eerste IVIG-behandeling twee kinderen: circa €16.000,-
- tweede IVIG-behandeling voor twee kinderen: circa €14.000,-
- Totaal: circa €30.000
Wij vragen daarom om jouw hulp, helaas vergoedt de zorgverzekeraar niets.
Elke bijdrage, groot of klein, is enorm welkom.

Para 3 vitesh, djemt tonë kishin një jetë normale. Pas një infektimi me COVID-in, ata u sëmurën njëri pas tjetrit brenda një periudhe të shkurt. Prej asaj kohe, jeta e tyre është shëndruar në vizita të shumta në spitale, dhimbje të forta, marremendje, lodhje ekstreme, vetmi dhe frik për të ardhmën. Fakti që ka kaq pak perspektivë për përmirësim e bën gjithë këtë më të vështir per të përballuar.
Ata janë pothuajse plotësisht të kufizuar në shtëpi. Ndonjëherë arrijnë të shkojnë në shkollë vetëm për 1 deri në 2 orë, por shpesh kjo nuk është e mundur.
Ne kemi provuar vërtet gjithçka që ka qenë në mundësinë ton. Asnjë mjek apo spital në Holandë, përfshirë edhe klinikat private që kemi vizituar, nuk ka arritur t’i ndihmojë. Gjithashtu, asnjë trajtim alternativ nuk u ka sjellë përmirësim.
Ata dëshirojnë aq shumë të kthehen në shkollë, të luajn sërish me shokë dhe të luajn futboll. Ata dëshirojnë mbi të gjitha të jen sërish thjesht fëmijë.
Dr. Danilo Buonsenso është një pediatër nga Roma, i njohur ndërkombëtarisht për punën e tij në fushën e long COVID-it te fëmijët. Përmes trajtimeve, ndër të tjera edhe me IVIG, shumë fëmijë përmirsohen.

Për këto dy trajtime, Dr. Buonsenso ka dhënë vlerësimin e mëposhtëm, pa përfshirë komplikacionet e mundshme:
Konsulta fillestare, analizat dhe terapia e parë me IVIG, për dy fëmijë: rreth €16.000
Terapia e dyt me IVIG, për dy fëmijë: rreth €14.000
Totali: rreth €30.000
Për ta bër kët te mundur po kërkojmë ndihmën tuaj. Fatkeqësisht, sigurimi shëndetësor nuk mbulon asnjë pjesë të shpenzimeve.

Until 3 years ago, our sons had a normal life. They went to school, loved playing outside with their friends, and were very active in sports. After a COVID infection, they became ill shortly after one another. Since then, their lives have consisted of countless hospital visits, severe nerve pain, dizziness, nausea, extreme exhaustion, loneliness, fear, and having to say goodbye to everything they can no longer do. The fact that there is so little hope for improvement makes all of this unbearable.
They are now almost completely housebound. Going to school is sometimes possible for 1 to 2 hours, but often not for weeks at a time. Even a short visit from a friend means more pain afterwards and days of recovery.
We have truly tried everything within our power. No doctor or hospital in the Netherlands, including the private clinics we visited, has been able to help them. No alternative treatment has brought them any improvement either.
They want so badly to go back to school, meet up with friends, and play football again. They want so badly to just be children again.

These treatments involve very high costs. The full treatment plan consists of approximately 6 treatments, including intake, at the Gemelli University Hospital in Rome.
The total cost for our two sons is approximately €85,000. There needs to be a number of weeks of recovery between treatments, which means we will need to travel back to Rome several times.
To make this manageable, we would first like to try two treatments for our sons.
For these first two treatments, Dr. Buonsenso has provided the following estimated costs, excluding any complications:
