Onyx Stokes was born on July 8th. Due to medical negligence, his parents are now facing the unimaginable — going home without their baby.

Onyx is my nephew, and our entire family is rallying together to support his mom and dad during this heartbreaking time. They would like to give Onyx a proper burial. We’re asking for help — whether it’s to assist with funeral costs, bring a meal, or simply offer support so his parents can have a moment to grieve and process this loss.

Onyx is an organ donor, and even in his passing, he will go on to help other babies — a gift of life from a boy who never got to cry, but who touched all of us more deeply than words can say.

Onyx, you held on so strong to spend every last moment with your family. Sweet boy, you have changed our lives forever. I have no words for last night except this: thank you to everyone who surrounded our family with love.
