Onyx is my one-year-old cat who means the world to me. Recently, he swallowed something that caused a dangerous blockage in his intestines, and he’s now at the vet needing emergency surgery to save his life. The situation has been overwhelming and scary, but I’m doing everything I can to make sure Onyx gets the care he needs.

The veterinarians are hopeful that Onyx will recover after surgery, but they’ve told me it will be a long road. He’ll need to be watched around the clock, and I’ll have to take time off work to care for him during his first week home. The costs for the surgery and aftercare are more than I can manage alone, and I want to make sure Onyx has the best chance at a full recovery.
