Meet Onyx, a sweet boy I am fostering through Sarama Animal Rescue. His journey has been heartbreaking but full of hope. Onyx spent years suffering from untreated chronic ear infections that left him in constant pain and have now made him deaf, as both of his ear canals are completely closed. By the time he was rescued, he was on the euthanasia list, simply because no one wanted to take on his medical needs.

But Sarama Animal Rescue and I refused to give up on him. ❤️

Now, Onyx has a chance at a pain-free life with the help of ear surgery costing $1,700. This surgery will give him relief from the infections, pain, and constant discomfort that he has endured for far too long. Without it, his quality of life will continue to decline.

Sarama Animal Rescue already carries overwhelming medical bills because they always say “yes” to the toughest cases—the ones that most rescues turn away. I personally cover all of Onyx’s food, medications, and daily needs out of pocket, because he deserves the very best. But I can’t do this part alone.
