Hoi allemaal,

Mijn naam is Madelief Hendriks en ik zet me elke dag opnieuw in voor het opvangen en trainen van (foster)honden. Op dit moment heb ik twee hondjes in huis die dringend wat extra hulp nodig hebben; Louie en Barry.

Louie is een lieve, speelse hond van 1 jaar oud. Ondanks zijn jonge leeftijd heeft Louie al een rugzakje, op het moment dat Louie bij mij kwam heb ik aangegeven dat deze situatie naarmate heftig was dat de drie opties voor hem na het trainingstraject zouden zijn: terug naar de baasjes, bij mij blijven of anders, hoe pijnlijk ook, euthanasie..

Inmiddels heeft Louie een punt bereikt waar hij relatief betrouwbaar is, maar het probleem zit hem hier in het woordje ‘relatief’. Ik kan niet garanderen dat hij niet terug zal vallen en opnieuw gevaarlijk zal worden, wat hem in principe niet plaatsbaar maakt.

De eigenaren van Louie zijn helaas niet in staat om de kosten van de trainingen te blijven betalen.

 

Ik zou hem heel graag nog een tijdje verder willen begeleiden, maar de kosten lopen op.. en omdat honden trainen ook mijn fulltime baan is, moet ik werk afwijzen om tijd te maken om met Louie door te kunnen.

Als ik dit wil doen hebben we financieel gezien wat hulp nodig om hem elke dag weer te bieden wat hij nodig heeft.

Daarnaast heb ik momenteel Barry in huis, een jonge pup van 8 maanden oud uit Roemenië die kampt met heftige angstagressie. Zijn verleden is niet helemaal duidelijk, maar het is cruciaal dat hij de training krijgt die hij nodig heeft. Barry is bij mij gekomen vanuit Stichting Pootjes Over De Grens waar ik ook deel van uitmaak, maar helaas raakt ook hun spaarpotje op.. en wil ik op deze manier vragen of er mensen zijn die hier (voor Barry), of via hun fundraisers (voor de andere hondjes) een donatie willen/kunnen doen, om ook hem en heel veel andere hondjes weer op de rit te helpen.

Om Louie en Barry de best mogelijke zorg te bieden, hebben we jullie hulp hard nodig. Het ingezamelde geld zal worden gebruikt voor:

* Professionele training voor Louie om zijn angstagressie te verminderen

* Professionele training voor Barry om zijn angstagressie te verminderen

* Dierenartskosten

* Kwalitatieve voeding en benodigdheden

Hi everyone,

My name is Madelief Hendriks and every day I am committed to helping and training (foster) dogs. At the moment two of the dogs in the house urgently need some extra help; Louie and Barry.

Louie is a sweet, playful dog ​​1 year old dog. Despite his young age, Louie already has a gone through alot. When Louie came to me, I told his owners that this situation was so extreme that the three options for him after the training program would be: back to the owners, stay with me or otherwise, behavioural euthanasia.

Louie has now reached a point where he is relatively reliable, but the problem here lies in the word 'relatively'. I cannot guarantee that he will not relapse and become dangerous again, which means I can’t safely place him with a family at this point in time.

Unfortunately Louie’s owners are running out of funds for his training,

I would like to continue training him for a while, but the costs are increasing.. and because training dogs is also my full-time job, I have to turn down work to make time to continue with Louie.

So if I want to do this, we need some financial support to give him the training he needs.

Then there is Barry, a young 8 month old puppy from Romania who suffers from severe fear aggression. His past is not entirely clear, but it is crucial that he receives the training he needs.

Barry came to me from Stichting Pootjes Over De Grens, of which I am also part of, but unfortunately their savings are also running out.. if there are people out there who want to/can make a donation (for Barry), or via their fundraisers (for the other dogs), to help him and many other dogs get back on track it would be greatly appreciated.

To provide Louie and Barry with the best possible care, we need your help. The money raised will only be used for:
