Our Dream: A Family Cabin in Magical Northern Norway

Hello! We are Yannick, Dorianne, Elias, and James a Belgian family with a big dream.

In the summer of 2026, we are moving to Northern Norway, where we will first be living in a rented home in Guvåg, a small and peaceful village close to the Lofoten Islands. This will be our base as we start our new life in the Arctic.

From there, we will begin searching for something very special: an old, characterful cabin to buy and lovingly renovate into a warm, family-friendly retreat.

A place where families can slow down, reconnect, and experience the magic of Northern Norway together.

Why this dream matters to us

We are not rushing into a big project. We are taking our time.

Living in Guvåg allows us to truly experience the region, understand the seasons, and carefully choose the right place not just any cabin, but the cabin where we can build something meaningful.

We want to create a space that feels real, simple, and full of heart.
