Onix’s Story

Onix is our 2-year-old boy who was found under an RV as a tiny kitten, just a few weeks old. He was brought home and raised as part of a family of four, plus another cat, and has been a sweet, playful, loving part of their lives ever since. A few days ago, Onix suddenly became critically ill with a life-threatening urinary blockage, a common but extremely dangerous emergency for male cats. He was rushed to the emergency clinic, where he needed hospitalization, unblocking, IV fluids, diagnostics, and intensive care to save his life.

The total bill came to $4,499.99. Frank and the family have paid everything they can, but as a family of four with another pet, this unexpected cost has hit them hard. Onix is home now and starting to recover, but they still need help covering the rest of his care and medications.
