Hi my name is Abigail and I'm raising funds to get my cat, Onion, to the vet.

I just reunited with Onion after a difficult 6 month long separation as I struggled to get housing and figure out how I could get him back from someone who was temporarily caring for him, I was paying this person for him when she, unbeknownst to me, started putting my cat outside. As a result, he has developed what I suspect is a large abscess on his face and has become flea ridden.

I've called multiple vets and almost all of them have told me that at minimum it will cost 1000$ to just take him in for surgery, but it will likely cost more than that depending on the care he needs and other expenses like antibiotics. I have asked about payment plans and been told every time that they're not an option. I do not make enough money to pay up front for this - my hours at work were recently cut significantly and I already barely scrape by paying for things like rent and food. I do not have people that I can ask for help monetarily with this issue and I just want my cat to be happy and safe after what he's been through.

Please help me get him the care he needs, I'm worried to death about his well being. All funds will go towards vet care, surgery and any medications that he may need afterwards.
