This GoFundMe was approved by ONeal Gamble and his neice Aja Shore White.

On October 6, ONeal Gamble, was in a horrible motorcycle accident that left him with a broken neck and paralysis. He is making small improvements every day, but it will be a very long road ahead for him — full of therapy, challenges, and healing.

Right now, ONeal can’t work and still has bills to pay. He worries about that, even while he’s fighting to regain movement and strength. Just last night, when his friend Cindy told him she was setting up this GoFundMe for him, he smiled and said, “You are F…ING awesome!”

No — he is F…ING awesome. ❤️

He’s just now starting to be able to talk more, and his joking sense of humor is definitely coming through.

Some of his friends call him “OG,” and everyone who knows him agrees — those initials fit him perfectly. He’s truly an original: 75 years young, with a heart of gold and a spirit that never quits.

ONeal is the kind of man who would help anyone, anytime, without hesitation. He’s loved by so many friends and family members who know his kindness, his humor, and his joy for life — especially his love of the water and his boat, which has always been his pride and joy.

He’s retired but now can’t do some of the volunteering for things like the amazing cooking that he’s famous for at The Comfort Zone in Seattle. Anyone who’s ever tasted his food knows how much love he puts into it — feeding people has always been one of his ways of caring for others. We all look forward to the day when he can get back to doing what he loves most.

We want to help him keep that boat for the days when he’s better and back to doing what he loves — whatever God has in store for him next.
