Help One Health Lessons succeed

We are raising money today to create a sustainable platform that provides high-quality lessons for children that highlight the connection between the environment, our health, and the health of plants and animals (this connection is known by scientists as "One Health").  

Since May 2020, seven internationally-acclaimed and age-appropriate COVID-19 lessons have been posted and freely accessible on the One Health Lessons website. Today, these lessons are being translated into over 80 languages by over 1000 volunteers around the world.  Fortunately, One Health lessons have already been taught in multiple countries and in multiple languages to over 2500 students!

The COVID-19 lessons were designed for students as young as 6 years old (but have even been used with 4-year-olds!) to alleviate anxiety over the pandemic through promotion of understanding.  The lessons teach:
(1) where the SARS-CoV-2 virus likely came from
(2) what we can do to protect ourselves today
(3) what scientists of different backgrounds are doing to ensure your family stays safe in the future, and more!

Your money will go toward the development of the next set of lessons (which will focus on vaccines) and provide seed money to help the organization become sustainable.

Teaching children changes society.  After learning about One Health, I have seen students teach their own parents about this critical concept.  

Put simply: by teaching children, you teach multiple generations.
