Ona has been my companion since she was just three months old, and now at five years old, she continues to bring joy and comfort to my life. On March 27, 2026, Ona suddenly lost mobility in her front legs while playing. She began stumbling, and I rushed her to the ER, where they diagnosed her with early signs of IVDD. Over the next few days, she lost complete mobility, and I took her to a neurologist who recommended urgent treatment. The cost for her care is more than I can afford. I've tried applying for grants but have been denied, and I've been driving Lyft after work every night to try to meet the goal, but it's a lot of money.

Ona has always been there for me, saving me from depression and hardships, and showing unconditional love to everyone around her. She tries her best to move but struggles, and it breaks my heart to see her in pain. All I'm asking is for some help to save her. Not everyone understands the kind of love a dog can give when you're alone. Ona has licked my tears, cuddled me when I'm sick, and made me laugh on my worst days. I just want to pay her back and save her life.
