Help Omar's Family Rebuild After Tragic Fire

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to support our colleague and friend, Omar, one of our very own at HSS, and his family who have recently experienced an unimaginable tragedy. On Sunday night, a severe storm struck their home, and a lightning bolt ignited a devastating fire. As if the fire wasn't enough, the storm caused the roof to collapse, leading to severe flooding of what remained of their house.

Miraculously, Omar, his wife, and their children were able to escape the flames unharmed. Thanks to the heroic efforts of firefighters, their pets were also rescued. However, they have lost all of their belongings and necessities in this disaster.

Currently, Omar and his family are staying with relatives, but they face the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch. As they navigate this challenging time, they need our support more than ever.
