Help Omari Attend Joffery Ballet School in NYC

Hello Friends and Family,

My Name is Omari Simmons I am 23 years old and currently live in Atlanta, GA. I have been dancing since I was 2yrs old and from a young age, it has become my entire life. Growing up I have been blessed to have a good support system and endless amounts of love from my friends and family. I have been taught to work super hard for my Dreams and with me currently being in school full time and working full time, I am trying to make that dream a reality.

On January 9th, 2021 I decided to take a big leap by attending an audition for the Joffery Ballet School BFA & Trainee program. This school is located in New York City and is known for crafting amazing dancers while also providing amazing mentorship and guidance to feed them into Prestigious Ballet companies and provide fruitful careers. On January 24th I was blessed enough not only to receive a place within their Summer Intensive but also was accepted into their year-round schooling program and considered to audition for the top 16 concert group. I am truly honored and grateful for an opportunity to live out my dreams dancing in one of the most career-growing places on earth and hope that I will be able to attend and move in July.

Opportunities like this do mean that the work is only beginning. With me still finishing up the school year, working full time, and continuing my training does not give me enough time to build up a security blanket for the big move in July, and with hard times after the most life-altering pandemic, I only hope that you can spare 50cents to 3 dollars to help me achieve my dream and help me grow and flourish as an artist, dancer,

and future educator.
