I'm Stacy, Omar's current roommate of 2 years and friend of almost 20 years. I was by his side for his first open heart surgery in February 2024 and I'll gladly be there for the next one... on April 16 2026.

Omar's cardiologist has identified the beginning of another tear in his ascending aorta that will eventually grow to become an emergency and they want to address it before that happens. Therefore, this is NOT an emergency surgery... which, ironically, made things more complicated to schedule.

He was informed of the need for a second surgery in August 2025 and has been out of work due to health reasons for over a year now. Hospital bills will be taken care of, luckily, but daily living has become increasingly expensive and with State Disability expiring at the end of 2025... Omar could use any financial help you're able to give.

Funds raised for Omar through this Go Fund Me will be used for post-surgery care items/expenses, and general living expenses.
