Help Omar saves his family

Hello everyone,

I am Zhilian from Italy and I am his friend. I am campaigning for Omar and his family, who have been severely affected and displaced in Deir al-Balah due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

It has been a year since the war broke out and changed their lives dramatically. For a 12-year-old boy, this year has brought so much pain, suffering and trauma. Now, the cold of winter has set in, and they are living in tents.

The situation is urgent, and we need your support now to help them cope with the devastating effects of the war.

Omar’s appeal is a reminder of the harsh reality that many families in war-torn areas face.

Here is his message:

Hi, my name is Omar. I am 12 years old and I am from Gaza.

I have three brothers, Mahmoud, Tamer, and Jana. We are orphans. We lost our father when we were very young. During this war, my house that sheltered me, my brothers and my mother was bombed. Now my family and I live in a tent in the freezing cold. There is no clothes or food. My mother is sick with a stomach disease because of the contamination of the water and food. There is no one to help us. You are our only hope to survive the war.

Please help me and my orphan brothers who have no breadwinner. Your contribution will help us buy food, water, winter clothes and medicine for my mother.
