Help Omar Rebuild His Future

Hello everyone,

I am raising funds for my friend and language exchange partner Omar Sebah who is currently living in Gaza, Occupied Palestine.

Omar is a 19 years old student of computer systems engineering at Palestine Technical College - Deir al-Balah. Before the war began, he also worked part time as a graphic designer. However, his laptop was destroyed in an airstrike on his home, removing his only source of income. I am grateful that he made it out alive.

Unfortunately, his three year old niece did not share the same fate. She was martyred on October 28th, 2023. He also has lost countless friends and family.

Omar is an intelligent, determined young man seeking a better life through his studies and technical skills. He is even learning English to enhance any opportunities he could get in the future. With $1200, Omar can purchase food, toiletries, and other supplies that have skyrocketed in price during the war.

If you can spare him $5, $10, or $50, please do. Help me help him realize the future that he deserves.

EDIT: The situation has become more dire since I first posted this fundraiser. My original intention was to raise funds for Omar to get equipment for work opportunities during the ceasefire, but that has since ended.
