Hello, my name is Paloma , a college student from the United States. My dear friend Ekhlas from Gaza has a sister named Umm Omar. She is a single mother of four whose husband died a few years ago. She is the sole provider for her sons and has asked me to help her set up a campaign for her son to help him survive these terrifying, dangerous, and uncertain times in Gaza. Below is a message from her son Omar:

“Hi, my name is Omar. I am 12 years old and I am from Gaza.

I have three brothers, Mahmoud, Tamer, and Jana. We are orphans. We lost our father when we were very young. During this war, my house that sheltered me, my brothers and my mother was bombed. Now my family and I live in a tent in the freezing cold. There is no clothes or food. My mother is sick with a stomach disease because of the contamination of the water and food. There is no one to help us. You are our only hope to survive the war.

Please help me and my orphan brothers who have no breadwinner. Your contribution will help us buy food, water, winter clothes and medicine for my mother.”
