Help Ollie Save Lola!

This is Lola -- She's four years old, she loves you SO much even though she hasn't met you yet (don't worry she'll make up for it when you walk in the door for the first time), is easily 12/10 on the good girl spectrum, and is the beloved family dog of my sister Paula, brother-in-law Scotty, and nephew Ollie. 



Lola loves snuggling,  playing, the occasional bork, and most of all she loves her new brother Ollie. 






Tragically on Friday,  Lola slipped as she came bounding excitedly up the back stairs and ruptured her spleen. Scotty was home and was able to act quickly rushing Lola to the emergency vet, where they found massive internal bleeding. To save Lola's life they had to perform emergency surgery to remove her spleen, a blood transfusion, and keep Lola in the ICU for 3 days.  



Unfortunately emergency care is expensive. The family has had to come up with $9,624 so far to cover expenses -- opening a care credit, dipping into savings, and canceling Christmas plans. Anything they could think of to come up with the funds to save Lola. 



There's never a good time for something like this to happen, but the Holidays make this even harder.



I started this gofundme because Paula, Scotty and Ollie would never ask for help themselves. Any little bit  we can get them will go directly to vet bills and care of Lola.
