Ollie is a retired search and water rescue dog who has spent 14 years selflessly helping strangers. Trained as a FEMA Level SAR dog, Ollie was cleared in all categories except avalanches, and he also served as a medical, therapy, and cancer-sniffing service dog. His dedication to helping others has made him a true hero in the community.

I became Ollie's co-handler and trainer when his owner, who had a serious medical emergency, needed someone to care for him. For two years, I watched over Ollie until his owner was ready to take care of him again. Throughout his life, Ollie has been a loyal companion and a source of hope for many people. Sadly, years of sacrifice have taken a toll on Ollie's health, and he has developed a hernia that now requires emergency surgery.

This surgery is complicated and urgent, and Ollie's owner is struggling to afford the care he needs after falling on hard times.
