Help Ollie Play Again...

Hello, friends and kind-hearted animal lovers,

I’m writing for my dear friend Kathy and her beloved dog, Ollie. Recently, Ollie was diagnosed with a torn CCL, which is equivalent to a torn ACL in humans, and he urgently needs surgery to heal and continue living a happy, active life.

The Situation: Ollie is a 6-year-old rescue dog that Kathy brought into her life when he was just 1 1/2 years old. When Kathy first rescued Ollie, he was malnourished and terrified of people. With Kathy’s love and care, Ollie has transformed into a healthy, happy, and beautiful dog. He is now full of life, love, and energy. He loves to play ball, take long walks, and especially swim. Ollie is playful, fun, and the kind of dog you can’t help but adore.

Recently, however, Ollie started showing signs of pain and difficulty moving, leading to a vet visit. After over $1,200.00 spent on blood work & x-rays, it was discovered that Ollie had a torn CCL. Without surgery asap, his condition will only worsen and affect the good leg since he is currently hopping on 3 legs. The surgery is over $5,000.00 and is scheduled for February 21st, 2025.

Kathy has come up with $2,500.00 for Ollie’s surgery, but we are still $2,500 short. We have one week to raise the remaining balance, and we hope your help will get Ollie the surgery he desperately needs.
