Ollie is our 2-year-old dog, and he’s the most spunky, playful, and sweet boy you’ll ever meet. While he’s incredibly loving, he’s also stubborn in the best way, and that’s just one of the many reasons we adore him. When Ollie was only 10 months old, he was diagnosed with hip-dysplasia, which can eventually lead to early arthritis. Since then, he’s been getting monthly hip injections to help manage his pain and keep him comfortable.

Recently, Ollie had to get an ultrasound, and we received the heartbreaking news that he has an obstruction in his small intestine. This means he needs emergency surgery as soon as possible. The cost of the surgery is overwhelming for us—especially with my girlfriend in school and us working hard to redo our house. Even though we both have decent jobs, coming up with this much money so quickly is a real challenge.
