Ollie, who I lovingly call my son, came into my life unexpectedly when I was providing in-home care for an elderly man. He showed up on the side of my house, scared and clearly having been through a lot. Over time, Ollie learned to trust me, and his transformation was incredible. He went from a fearful, timid pup to an energetic, playful companion who never wants to stop playing fetch with his favorite ball and squeaky toys. For the past nine years, Ollie has been my constant source of joy and comfort, always by my side and bringing happiness to everyone he meets.

Now, at nine years old, Ollie is facing a tough challenge. He tore the canine equivalent of his ACL and needs TPLO surgery to repair his knee. This surgery will allow him to continue living the active, playful life he loves, especially with his brother Maxx. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is more than I can manage, even with my steady job as a custodian. Financial options like credit weren’t available to me, so I’m reaching out for help. Despite his pain and a previous arthritis diagnosis, Ollie still tries to run and play, showing the same youthful spirit he’s always had.
