Hi everyone, this is Ollie. He is a 3-year-old standard poodle—my whole heart and best friend.
On January 1st, we discovered two swollen lumps on Ollie’s neck. He started struggling to breathe and stopped being his usual playful, excited self. After multiple tests, antibiotics, and a biopsy, he was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma—an aggressive cancer that affects his lymphocytes and spreads quickly through his lymphatic system, impacting his lymph nodes, organs, and bone marrow.
Chemotherapy can help by using Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, Vincristine, and Prednisone to disrupt cancer cell growth, division, and survival, shrinking the tumors and slowing their progression. Ollie has an 80–90% chance of going into remission with just one full round of treatment. Although effective, it is expensive. His 19-week chemo treatment alone is estimated to cost my family $10,000. This does not include regular checkup visits during his remission period.
I beg you to help me give Ollie his best fighting chance. He is more than just my dog—he’s a daily reminder of how exciting every day can be. His light fills our home, no matter the circumstance. He is my reminder to stay positive and strong, especially now.
Any support you can give, whether it’s donating or sharing this post, would mean everything to Ollie, my family, and me. Thank you.
