Keep Olivia Smiling!

Olivia Beardsley has always been a very special girl. As her aunt and godmother I am sure that I am not biased! Olivia is both fun loving and hard working.  She loves to hang out with her friends, is involved in her church activities, youth group, choir, and so much more. She is incredibly bright and self driven at only 15 years old and is excelling in her freshman year of homeschool. 

Unfortunately, Olivia’s health took a sudden and unexpected turn for the worse early this week and her and her family’s world turned upside down. She ended up in the ER and was transferred to Children’s in Milwaukee to figure out what was going on.

What started as stomach pain ended up with a severely enlarged stomach, blockages, NG tubes, and a scary, sleepless couple of days for Olivia and her family. Apparently, Olivia is a medical mystery! Her team still isn’t sure what exactly she is dealing with, but they are hopefully on the right track to figuring it out as well as a treatment plan.

Olivia’s parents, Josh and Brook are so amazing and are handling this intense situation as well as can be expected. Thankfully, they have a rock solid faith and know that God has Olivia in his hand.  

I’m raising money to help Olivia’s family offset the present and future medical expenses and enable them to be able to stay with their daughter as the hospital is not close to home. This is one way everyone that loves them and is asking what they can do to help can show them we love and support them! Every little bit helps!
