Olivia was enjoying a vacation in Spain with friends when her trip took a frightening and unexpected turn. She began experiencing severe headaches, and after seeking medical attention, doctors discovered a large brain mass that requires urgent surgery. Because it is not safe for Olivia to fly back to the United States, she will need to undergo the procedure in Spain.

Thankfully, Olivia’s immediate family has been able to travel to Spain to be by her side during this difficult time. While the circumstances are incredibly challenging, she continues to face them with the same positivity, resilience, humor (affectionately referring to the mass as "Tumorzilla"), and lighthearted spirit that everyone who knows and loves her has come to admire.

The costs are overwhelming, and insurance will likely not cover much of the expenses associated with her hospitalization, surgery, ongoing care, and eventual travel back to the United States. Her surgery alone costs $80,000, which Olivia and her family have had to pay upfront. As a result, they are facing significant financial uncertainty at a time when their focus should be on her treatment and recovery.

Funds raised through this campaign will be used to cover medical expenses not paid by insurance, travel and lodging expenses for Olivia and her family while she receives care abroad, her eventual return home, and recovery-related expenses while she is unable to work.
