Olivia has been selected for an incredible opportunity to study abroad in Italy this May. This will be her first time studying overseas, and she’s excited to experience a new culture while expanding her education in a meaningful way.
During the program, Olivia will study the history and global impact of organized crime in Italy, including how it has been portrayed in films and media. She’ll also learn directly from Italian experts about the origins and evolution of these organizations, along with the powerful social movements that helped push back against the influence of the Mafia.
As part of the program, she’ll also meet with American federal law enforcement agents stationed in Rome, who will share real-world insights from investigations and cases they’ve worked on. We’re incredibly proud of her for being selected for this program.
We have already covered the program tuition, and we’re simply asking for a little help with travel and cultural experience costs so she can make the most of this opportunity. This includes visiting museums and historic sites, participating in field trips, exploring local culture, and experiencing life in both Palermo and Rome. Any support—big or small—would mean so much to our family and would help Olivia take full advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime learning experience.
