Help Olivia Sing in Italy!

A lot of you have followed and supported me in my music journey for quite some time now. From my choir and open mic days to now being in the last year of my master’s in music at the University of Western Ontario. Although it hasn’t always been easy, I truly feel so lucky to be studying and building a career in something that I love and get to do every day.

I have recently been awarded an amazing opportunity to study and perform in Italy next summer with La Musica Lirica - a 24 year old international music festival. On top of regular performances with the Ravenna orchestra, I will also have the opportunity to work with faculty and sing with performers from around the world.

Although part of the trip has been covered through a scholarship, I still need to cover flights and accommodations for six weeks. Anything you’d be willing to give would be so appreciated. This is something I really want to be able to do that would be an amazing addition to my career and something that is possible with some extra financial support.

For the spring, I am in the midst of planning a benefit concert, in partnership with a local organization here in London to help raise funds for their needs as well as mine, and will be applying for multiple grants in the hopes of further offsetting the cost. I am going to take a second part-time job next term in order to save as much as I can towards this but will still need further help.
