Help Olivia Recover After Emergency Surgery in Mexico

On October 13th, my sister Olivia had to undergo an emergency gallbladder removal surgery while in Mexico. The surgery came suddenly after she experienced excruciating pain for five days after being initially misdiagnosed by her doctor with colitis. By the time doctors finally discovered the problem was actually her gallbladder, it was severely infected and had to be removed immediately.

The surgeon told her it was the worst gallbladder he had ever removed — it was three times the normal size, and he couldn’t believe she had endured that level of pain for so long.

Unfortunately, emergency surgery in Mexico must be paid for upfront, and the cost was $4,000 USD. Olivia simply doesn’t have the funds to cover such a sudden, major expense.

We’re asking for any help, big or small, to cover her medical bills, medications, and recovery expenses so she can focus on healing instead of worrying about debt.
