On February 4th, Olivia and Julian were involved in a serious motorcycle accident in Peru. They were traveling from exploring Urubamba back to Huaran when they were hit by a drunk driver who had his headlights turned off. Due to COVID-19 restrictions in the area, the two had to wait hours for an ambulance before being taken to the nearby hospital. Olivia was later transferred to a different hospital where she received various tests, including X-rays and an MRI, along with excellent care. She remained in the hospital for four nights and five days, receiving tests and learning how to sit-up, all while experiencing excruciating pain from extensive bruising. On Monday February 8th, Olivia was released into the care of her parents. Olivia's mom and dad were thankfully able to make it to the hospital to be by her side during this scary and painful time. Julian received X-rays as well, has a broken bone, and extensive bruising. They are now back in the Valley where they are able to recover amongst friends and family.

This past year, Olivia has been creating medicinal tinctures and salves as she learns more about the power of plant medicine. Julian is an amazing chef and guide. He is a friend to many, with a loving and adventurous heart. Very passionate about or Earth, he guides people on breathtaking adventures, lovingly introducing them to the Sacred Valley. His laugh and joyous way of being brings light to many.
