Hi, I’m Olivia, a trans woman living in Switzerland, and I’m raising funds for critical gender-affirming facial feminization surgery that my insurance refuses to cover.

Over the past years I’ve taken steps toward living as my true self socially, legally and medically. My insurance is refusing to cover the costs of facial feminization surgery that I desperately need to feel comfortable in my own body.

This procedure is essential for my safety, mental health and ability to pass in everyday life. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to walking down the street without fear, navigating job interviews with confidence, and simply looking in the mirror and recognizing the woman I am. The costs are an estimate of how much the operation would cost as I cannot get an exact figure without committing to paying for the operation. If more money than necessary is raised, any extra funds will be donated to the Transgender Network Switzerland (TGNS)
