Help Olivia Build Gaston's First Pottery Wheel Studio!

Hello! My name is Olivia Cantwell and I have big dreams of starting the first community pottery wheel studio in Gaston County!

As a passionate potter, I realize this is not a cheap hobby, and would like to make it accessible to as many clay curious people as possible! This fundraiser will allow me to purchase the appropriate amount of wheels and a larger kiln to make this happen faster than my personal pottery sales and classes will allow.

I have proven that I am capable of managing a successful and inviting environment for budding artists to learn and thrive at the wheel. My small community of students have shown interest in independently working on their art, and my waitlist for classes has continued to grow, so I feel now is the time to grow into a larger, community space.

I have found a very promising space that only needs minor improvements to become a blooming community studio, but the cost of stocking the equipment for the growth comes with quite the startup fee.
