Help Olivia and Josiah Save Zuko's Life
Donation protected
Zuko is a feisty siamese kitten adopted early this year by Olivia and Josiah, he’s been very well loved and their entire apartment has been taken over by his cat toys. Please consider donating to help find the cure for Zuko and bring him home for good ❤️ Between vet bills, hospitalization, and a specialist vet the expenses are slowly encroaching $10,000.
On April 16th, Olivia suspected something was wrong with Zuko when he lost most of his appetite and stopped eating his treats. The next day he was taken to the vet when they gave him an appetite stimulant. On the 21st they took him to the vet to get bloodwork and an x-ray where they found nothing wrong with either except abnormal liver results, presumably from not eating, and gave him anti-nausea meds along with the appetite stimulant. By the next day he’d started sleeping a lot, not purring or suckling or being his usual self, and stopped eating entirely. On the 24th he was hospitalized and put on a feeding tube, liquids, and given an ultrasound. Olivia and Josiah took him home Monday the 27th hopeful that after supportive care, the low stress environment would encourage him to start eating, with no luck. It’s now Wednesday and with Zuko having eaten very little, he has to be taken to an internal medicine specialist who has more options to diagnose and treat him where the vet hospital can’t seem to find the source of his illness. They have been paying everything with credit card up to this point and are slowly losing funds and running out of options for their very beloved cat, Zuko.
