Help Oliver Smile Through His Challenges

My name is Susie and this is best friend Randi and her husband John and twin 7 year olds, Oliver and Vivienne. Seven years ago Oliver suffered an incident at daycare which left him with epilepsy. He has seizures daily, can’t walk or talk and has left side weakness but his smile and laugh are the most contagious thing in the world. On Nov. 6 Oliver had a hemispherotomy to disconnect the right side of his brain from his body to help with his seizures. Since then Oliver has not been able to keep anything down. After about a week in the hospital he came home but since then it has been several trips to the ER to figure out what is going on with the constant throwing up. Oliver is currently admitted back into the hospital with a feeding tube to help. John and Randi live 45 min from the hospital so they have been taking turns going back and forth with Vivienne and trying to keep a routine for her while be there for Oliver. It’s been a lot of gas money and putting in part time hours for both of them. John and Randi are never the kind of people to ask for help so let’s help them out so they can stop worrying about bills on top of worrying about their little man.
