Help Oliver Kick Cancers A$$

First off, let me note that if my dad knew I was putting this page together, he would definitely tell me “Absolutely Not!”. We aren’t a family to ask for help easily. However, I’m his stubborn daughter and a redhead so naturally, I’m doing it anyway! Our family and friends have supported us in unbelievable ways but now are asking how to help financially. As most of you know, my dad has been an extremely healthy and active person his entire life. However, in April my dad started noticing some changes to his movement on his right side. That led us to taking him to the emergency room and finding out that he had a large brain tumor the size of a racquetball. We had done some reasearch and he decided to go down to Mexico at a cancer treatment center called Sanoviv. My parents were planning on flying down on a Monday but the Thursday before he his first seizure where we decided flying was not a safe option. My sister and I decided to drive my parents down to San Diego that Sunday and he ended up having another seizure on the side of the road just 4 hours from Boise. We then decided the brain tumor was the immediate danger and he had brain surgery to remove that just a few days later. More test led to finding that the cancer had originated in his esophagus and had spread to his stomach, liver and a large tumor on his shoulder. We were then connected to Hope4Cancer and flew him to an outpatient clinic to attack the rest of the cancer in his body. On his 2nd day there, he had another seizure which caused him to break his hip and be forced to stay in a laying down position for 2 months. We had to charter and air ambulance to Hope4Cancers inpatient clinic on the other side of the country. He had been there for just about 2 weeks when a CT scan showed that his brain tumor is back and the same size as before the surgery. As of right now, he’s in the process of undergoing targeted radiation on his brain and shoulder tumor and planning to come home next Friday via an air ambulance. My dad is a fighter and will continue to push through this and beat his cancer. Please do not feel obligated by any means, this year has been hard on so many! Several close friends have gone through similar situations and are asking to help. I’ll also mention that my parents do not have any health insurance and are paying all of this out of pocket. I had to put a goal $ amount to create the page, but there is no specific amount, every little bit helps but as of right now the medical bills have surpassed $250k. Thank you for all your support, prayers and words of encouragements!!
