Help Oliver Heal: Support for Ollie's Recovery

I am collaborating with Jeri to raise funds for Oliver's medical bills and care. Oliver, affectionately known as Ollie, is a sweet Corgi mix who has a gentle disposition and enjoys cuddling.

On April 29, 2025, at around 10:30 AM, a heartbreaking incident occurred when a white van sped through our property and struck Oliver. It was devastating to witness him being harmed, especially as several people desperately shouted for the driver to stop, but the vehicle continued on without pausing. Our hearts are heavy as we try to process this tragic event.

Ollie was rushed to the vet. He has a broken pelvis, his skin was pulled from the muscles in several spots, and his front teeth were knocked out. Ollie was transported to a veterinary hospital for overnight care, following the recommendations of his local veterinarian.

While he is stable and his veterinary care team remains hopeful for his recovery, we understand that this will be a long and challenging journey. The skin that has been pulled away is changing colors, and we’re all anxious to find out whether it will improve or if it might need to be removed.

Jeri is scheduled to meet with the veterinarian this afternoon to receive an update on Oliver's condition and to learn about the timeline for his return home.

We are hoping to receive some assistance in covering part of his bills, as they are accumulating from both veterinary locations. We understand that the costs will continue to rise throughout his recovery, and we are uncertain how his human caretaker will manage these expenses at this time.
