Help Oliver get to the World Cup Final

After a great start to the season in Trieste, Italy at the semi-final of the Artistic International Series, I have found myself in the amazing position to be selected by WorldSkate to represent Team GB at the World Cup Final in San Juan, Argentina.

This news came as a complete surprise as this is not something I had previously thought was possible, especially given the very short time until the event which begins on the 13th of June!

I always budget for the various skating events throughout the year, but I had never anticipated being selected for this event as it requires placing in the top 10 scores of all competitors across the various semi-finals. I had not thought this possible, but I am honoured to now be in the position to be able to represent Team GB at this event.

Unfortunately, flights to Argentina are extremely expensive (approx £2000), especially with only 2 weeks until the start of the event, and after attending the World Championships in Argentina last year, I am finding it hard to fund my skating. As many of you know, all skating in GB is self-funded, and we usually have to pay for flights, transfers and hotels, as well as food, equipment, costumes and regular training fees.

I am the only skater from Team GB who has been selected to attend the World Cup Final this year, and I am the first dance skater to ever be selected to attend this event from GB. This is a huge honour, and I am determined to fly the GB flag in Argentina, but I need your help to get there!

Any contributions to this trip, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. I hope to be able to use this to offset some of the cost of my flights, as this is the main expense. I am so grateful to everyone who has supported my skating so far, and I hope to continue to represent Team GB in the best way I can.
