Oliver is more than just a pet—he’s my son and my emotional support animal. For the past four years, he’s been my constant companion, especially during some of the hardest times in my life. When I was struggling in an abusive relationship, Oliver was always there for me. He senses when I’m sad or close to a severe anxiety attack, and his presence brings me comfort and calm. I can’t imagine being without him, even for a night.

Recently, Oliver was diagnosed with feline lung disease and asthma. The vet also wants to investigate his inflamed intestines and an enlarged heart, but I can’t afford the additional testing and care right now. I want him to have the absolute best care possible, but the costs for surgery, medicine, and ongoing testing are overwhelming.

I bottle-fed Oliver as a kitten and raised him to be the sweetest, most loving companion. He doesn’t know what personal space is—he’s always by my side, my little velcro baby.
