Oliver has been my constant companion since I picked him up out of a box of free kittens when I was 22. Now, 12 years later, he's not just my pet—he's my little boy, my little bubby, my little butthead, my family. I don’t have any close relatives, so it’s always been just me and Oliver, and the bond we share is truly special. He’s also become a beloved friend to my roommate, who always tells people he’s going to hang out after work with his best friend Oliver.

Recently, Oliver was diagnosed with kidney disease, and it’s been a heartbreaking and scary time. He’s now facing a medical emergency that requires hospitalization, treatment, and ongoing medication. Seeing him struggle is incredibly hard, and I want to do everything I can to give him the best chance at recovery.
