Help Olive Recover After Bear Attack

Hi, my name is Scarlett, and I’m reaching out for help after a terrifying experience. Our beloved dog, Olive, bravely protected my dad and our home when a bear came into our yard. Without hesitation, Olive put herself in harm’s way to keep us safe, and in doing so, she was badly injured.

Right now, Olive is fighting to recover from serious wounds. The emergency vet bills and ongoing care are more than we can handle on our own, but we want to give our hero the best chance at a full recovery.

Olive had surgery today. She did really well. They removed about a golf ball size muscle debris. She’s doing really well. They think she might have to have another surgery.
