Hi, my name is Scarlett, and I’m reaching out for help after a terrifying experience. Our beloved dog, Olive, bravely protected my dad and our home when a bear came into our yard. Without hesitation, Olive put herself in harm’s way to keep us safe, and in doing so, she was badly injured.

Right now, Olive is fighting to recover from serious wounds. The emergency vet bills and ongoing care are more than we can handle on our own, but we want to give our hero the best chance at a full recovery.

If you can help, any amount would mean the world to us and to Olive. Even if you can’t donate, sharing our story would be a huge help.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our furry family member who risked everything for us.

With gratitude,

Scarlett & Family

I just found out that some people rather donate to the vet directly then the GoFundMe the name of the vet is harmony veterinary clinic. 1823 Amsterdam Rd., Boston spa New York 12020. Olive had surgery today. She did really well. They removed about a golf ball size muscle debris. She’s doing really well. They think she might have to have another surgery.
