Hello, my name is Olive. I am a swim lessons instructor, dog mom, and also someone who is just having a really tough time.

The past year has been rough for me. I didn't work for 9 months due to health issues (hEDS, POTS, interstitial cystitis, endometriosis all diagnosed between 11/2023 and 06/24). During this time I lived off of credit cards while also accumulating massive amount of medical debt to get tests, surgeries, and medication figured out. After consulting with a financial advisor and two lawyers, I have decided to file for bankruptcy.

While I have finally gotten some symptoms under control and I have started working again, I am only able to sustain part-time employment. While I make enough to cover my current cost of living, I am drowning in debt. It will take me multiple lifetimes to dig myself out.

I am attempting to cover the $2000 lawyer fee, $338 filing fee, $25 pre-filing course, and $35 post-filing course. I would truly love to be able to start 2025 without this crushing weight hanging over me.
