Olin is in need of TLPO surgery to help him live his life to the fullest again.
“if you ain’t first, you’re last!”
These are the words by which Olin lives his life. He has always been an eager, high energy, fun, loving, sweet boy who is down for anything. Be it running, hiking, walking, car rides, running errands with his gamma- his favorite person ever.
As you can tell he is a very busy boy and nothing holds him back. He has survived a sprained tricep, ripped dewclaw, lymes disease, and losing his best friend and pack mate of seven years.
Unfortunately the loss of his best friend coincided with his injury so is not able to run off his feelings and emotions and has instead been stuck resting. We have tried resting it as much as possible and tried alternative non-surgical routes to help him but nothing has helped. He recently had a consult to see what else could be done, but there is nothing else to be done besides surgery.
This is an expensive surgery and I know Olin would be embarrassed to find out I was asking for donations for his surgery. But these last few months have been hard on me seeing him not be able to do the things he loves, so I will ask for his forgiveness for doing this after the surgery and after he is healed up.
This surgery would give Olin a chance to gain some of his mobility back, and a chance to run free and wild once again.
