Help Olga Sharapat Escape War Zone in Ukraine

Hi! My mom and I wanted to create a Go Fund Me to raise money for our friend, Olga Sharapat. We met Olga and her son Bogdan 10 years ago through Dhruzba 78 hockey program. When Russia became more aggressive at the border, we worked with Olga to bring Bogdan here to the US to finish school. Bogdan graduated from Holy Ghost Prep in 2016, which was the last time Bogdan and Olga saw each other. Olga is currently trying to leave Ukraine to escape the terrible conditions in her hometown, Kharkiv. This town is surrounded by Russian troops and is being bombed daily. She is currently traveling to Lviv in hopes of getting a train to Poland. Due to the number of refugees fleeing the country, she was not allowed to bring anything but the clothes on her back and one bottle of water. From there, God willing, she will fly to the U.S. to reunite with her son, Bogdan. Olga is leaving everything behind, and we want to help her rebuild her life by supplying her with new clothes, makeup, toiletries, and anything else she will need.
