Help Olga get a replacement car & wages

Hi, my name is Wendy Carolina & my mother’s name is Olga Marina Serpas she’s a pizza delivery driver for Domino’s Pizza. She’s been delivering pizzas for Domino’s in the Northline area for the past 16 years & although she’s been victim of hit and runs & other robberies while working, she enjoys her job & has kept at it. This incident has been different. 

On Thursday July 21 at 7:30p she was carjacked by two young black females at The Apex apartments on 8520 Madie Street while delivering a pizza to a recipient who did not answer door or phone to get it. As she was walking back to her vehicle, these 2 black females grabbed her by the hair and then shoved her face first to the ground. She let everything go as she hit the ground & the women just ran off with her keys. Police arrived on the scene fairly quickly but there was no sign of the car or the women & no witnesses. We’re already working on getting camera footage from the apartment complex. Police report has been filed but we have to wait 2-3 business days to get an investigator assigned. Now without a mode of transport, my mother will be without a way to work. 

She had just finished paying off her car 9 months ago & now she’ll have to get a new car note as a replacement. Even if insurance kicks in, a big IF given that she was working while it occurred, we already have been told that the value of the vehicle is greatly reduced since she’s had 2 documented accidents on it. Taking into account her deductible, she’ll be in a bind. She’s a housekeeper in the day, in addition to being a pizza delivery driver during the night. 

My sister and I are helping raise funds to get her a replacement vehicle paid in full and to cover the wages she’ll be losing until she can get a replacement car. She’s 63 years old and just getting a new job isn’t as easy as it is for us younger folk. Also, she worked so hard to pay her car note off that we want to do everything possible to make sure she stays without a car note. IF vehicle is found, which would be the best case scenario, money raised will be used to pay off some of her debts that push her to work so much & towards her home mortgage.
