Hello!

I’m Olena, a glider pilot representing the Ukraine Gliding Team.

In July-August this year, I am going to compete at the Women’s World Gliding Championship 2025 on Zbraslavice Airfield in the Czech Republic - a signature sporting event with over 50 pilots coming together from about 20 different countries from all over the world!

As participation is entirely self-funded, I’m reaching out to raise funds to help me cover the major expenses.

Goal: €3,200

This fundraising and your help will help me partially cover the costs:

Whether you can contribute or help spread the word, it means the world to me.

It is a valuable and meaningful opportunity to fly for my country during these challenging times.

Your support will help make this journey possible, allowing me to focus on flying my best and carrying the Ukrainian flag high.

Thank you so much,

Olena Yakymchuk and Ukraine Gliding Team
