On august 31st Olek was headed home on his motorcycle and was unfortunately involved in an accident that fractured his left leg. At the hospital the orthopedic surgeon determined that there was nothing they can do to reattach his leg and the only possible outcome was transtibial amputation (below the knee). The situation is daunting but we thank God that Olek is alive and that God spared his life.

Olek has a huge journey ahead of him mentally and physically so keep him and his family in your prayers. Although we can only rely on prayer to help him get through this part of his life we can help relieve him and his family from some of the financial burden. Medical expenses, medication, physical therapy etc and then a prosthetic leg are not cheap and shouldn’t be a concern for the family. So we ask that anyone who finds it in their heart to donate. Finances should be the last thing on his family’s mind right now. We want Olek to be able to get the best prosthetic available so he can lead as normal of a life as possible given the circumstances.

31 августа Олек ехал домой на своем мотоцикле и, к сожалению, попал в аварию, в которой сломал левую ногу. В больнице хирург-ортопед определил, что они ничего не могут сделать, чтобы снова прикрепить его ногу, и единственным возможным исходом была транстибиальная ампутация (ниже колена). Ситуация пугающая, но мы благодарим Бога за то, что Олек жив и что Бог пощадил его.

Олеку предстоит огромный психологический и физический путь, так что молитесь о нём и его семье. Хотя мы можем полагаться только на молитву, чтобы помочь ему пережить эту часть жизни, мы можем помочь ему и его семье избавиться от некоторого финансового бремени. Медицинские расходы, лекарства, физиотерапия и т. Д., А затем протез ноги не дешевы и не должны беспокоить семью. Поэтому мы просим всех, кто находит это в своем сердце, делать пожертвования.
