President Trump has suspended the Uniting for Ukraine program which has now impacted Olek and his parents Nina & Volodymyr. Their legal status in the US is due to expire on June 27 this year and had filed for an extension PRIOR to Trump taking office and suspending the program. We have been advised by immigration liaisons and experts that their best chance at staying in the United States until at least October 2026 would be filing for Temporary Protected Status (TPS). In order to continue their work authorization (they have been working while here too), they must pay $470 each. We are looking to raise the necessary funds for them to apply for TPS with Employment Authorization. Thank you so much for your help!
