My name is Lyudmyla and I am currently residing in Illinois and I am asking all compassionate people to help my family, My nephew to, get back on his feet. Kurshakov Oleh Serhiyovych, a serviceman, was severely injured while performing a combat mission, resulting in the amputation of both legs. The amputations are high, and complex prosthetics are required.

Unfortunately, we cannot get the necessary help in Ukraine, so we need to seek prosthetic treatment in the United States, which is very expensive. Please, help Oleh stand on his feet again. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation in Svalyava at the Protez Foundation Clinic. This is a prosthetic 501(c)(3) non-profit which has been helping wounded Ukrainians get back on their feet. He is waiting to come to the USA to be fitted here with state-of-the art prosthetics. With your help we can get him here faster.

He has a 7-year-old son, and his family is currently going through a very difficult time. He is gathering strength and patience on this long road to recovery, but he remains strong in spirit and hopeful for your support.
