Help Oleg and Tasya Get Life-Changing Surgery

Hello, my name is Natalia. I'm raising money for medical needs for two children of my dearest friend, Ekaterina, from Russia with her permission.

This is her story:

"Both our children, Oleg and Tasya, have infantile cerebral paralysis and need surgeries. In 2022, they underwent spinal cord surgery with SDR by Dr. D.Yu. Zinenko. The surgery significantly reduced spasticity, but unfortunately, by this age, flexion contractures and valgus deformity of the feet had already developed. Russian orthopedists insist on surgery. However, the methods they propose (cutting tendons and ligaments, long-term stay in plaster) do not suit us at all. In search of alternatives, we learned about Dr. Roy Nuzzo's method SPML (Selective Percutaneous Myofascial Lengthening). This is a minimally invasive surgical procedure aimed at increasing the range of motion in joints and relaxing muscles. It is performed using an optical knife and only on the fascia. After SPML, patients do not experience severe pain and can return to their normal activities almost the same day. This operation is performed only in the USA and Greece. We consulted with Dr. Nuzzo (USA) and Dr. Kanellopoulos (Greece). Both doctors believe that SPML will help Oleg and Tasya avoid more serious orthopedic surgeries, significantly increase their functionality and endurance. Due to difficulties with obtaining visas to America, we chose Dr. Kanellopoulos. They are already waiting for us in Athens on October 21. There is only one but... This is the cost of the operation. But we simply do not have the right not to use this chance, so we ask you for help!
