On New Year’s Eve 2025, our lives changed in an instant. While preparing a festive dinner for the Family my wife Oksana suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm—a terrifying and life-threatening emergency that has left her on a long and difficult road to recovery. By some miracle, she survived, and every day since has been about healing, rebuilding strength, and adapting to a new way of life.
Her recovery is ongoing, and though her spirit is strong, her body now requires significant support to do even the most basic things—like getting from one room to another or moving between floors in our home. To give her the safe, accessible space she needs to continue her healing at home, we’re making essential home modifications, including:
A walker-friendly layout with clear pathways
An in-home elevator to help her navigate stairs safely
Other safety adjustments to prevent falls and reduce strain
Unfortunately, these improvements are costly and come at a time when loss of her income is already placing a heavy financial burden on our family.
We’re asking for help from friends, family, and anyone who may be moved by our story. Our goal is to raise $20000 to cover these urgent home upgrades and ongoing medical needs. Every donation—big or small—brings us one step closer to creating a safe environment for Oksana to recover in comfort and dignity.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page. Your kindness and support mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
